💡Light Management
Light is the key factor for photosynthesis, directly impacting crop growth rate, yield, and quality. Effective light management in greenhouses can optimize photosynthetic efficiency, enhance plant health, and control growth cycles. Both excessive and insufficient light can negatively affect plant growth:
- Excessive Light: Can cause leaf scorching, excessive water loss, and light inhibition, reducing photosynthesis efficiency.
- Insufficient Light: Leads to weak plant growth, slow development, poor flowering, and reduced yields.

Shading Systems
To prevent excessive sunlight exposure, the following shading solutions can be used:
- Internal Shading System: Retractable shading screens inside the greenhouse reduce direct sunlight while also providing insulation.
- External Shading System: Installed outside the greenhouse to block excess sunlight and reduce internal temperature, ideal for hot climates.
- Adjustable Shade Nets: Used to partially block light, adjustable based on plant needs.
Supplementary Lighting Systems
When natural light is insufficient, artificial lighting is used to enhance plant growth
- LED Grow Lights: Provide specific light spectra (red, blue, or full-spectrum) to maximize photosynthesis efficiency.
- High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) Lamps: Traditional lighting for flowering and fruiting stages.
- Fluorescent Lamps: Soft lighting suitable for seedling propagation.
Let's take a look at real cases
In Kazakhstan, our greenhouse keeps the indoor temperature at 25°C for crop growth even during -25°C winters.
Our ventilation and cooling systems in Thailand reduce energy use by 15%
